About Us

I’m Markus Peters, and together with my family I moved to Portugal from the Netherlands in 2020 to follow our dream of living on the Silver Coast.

We quickly fell in love with the golden beaches, the calm lagoon, and the welcoming community that made us feel at home right away.

Our holiday homes were originally created by my parents, and today I proudly carry on what they started.

With the wonderful support of our local hostess Catarina, Amazing Portugal Holiday Homes has grown into a true family project — combining our roots, our passion for hospitality, and Catarina’s local expertise.

Catarina lives in Foz do Arelho with her husband and sons, where they also run a colorful surf camp. She’s passionate about travel, culture, and sharing the very best of her hometown — from local restaurants to hidden gems and, of course, the surf. With her warmth, energy, and insider knowledge, guests always feel right at home.
